“Perfect blend”

We wanted the privacy, quiet, and comfort of a private villa, but wanted the service that comes with an onsite staff. The Villa L'Olmo was the perfect compromise. Our family of 4 stayed here in April '12, and just loved it. Laura was incredibly warm and welcoming when we arrived. The apartment was extremely comfortable, with plenty of room for the 4 of us (mom, dad, kids age 11 and 8). Everything in the apartment was clean, fresh, and worked properly. Easy 5-minute walk into Impruneta for the grocery, restaurants, etc. Easy 10- to 15-minute drive to Florence. Maybe 40 minutes to Siena on the Autostrade.

"Lovely villa, great location"..

The perfect mix for us- a beautiful property, warm, inviting, friendly staff. We walked in to the sweet little town for cafes, restaurants and an amazing grocery store. So much fun to shop and cook after a couple of weeks of eating out. The view across the small valley - olive groves, grapes, apple trees in bloom was heavenly. The apartment was spacious, clean and simply but elegantly decorated. Breakfast was fresh and ample. Hope to return soon.

“Extraordinary Customer Service with Outstanding Views of Tuscany Valley”

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful villa tucked away in Impruneta, we were impressed and pleased with the interactions we had with all the staff. The young lady at check-in, Laura, was extremely cordial and welcoming. We also had several questions about eating options and she was overly helpful and energetic to make sure she met our needs. The room was very spacious and clean. The views from the room of the Tuscany region were breathtaking, particularly during the early morning hours with a cup of java.
The breakfast had ample options with fresh espresso made while you wait in the breakfast room. The servers were very receptive and accommodating. The costs during non-peak season is 8 euros per person and 12 euros per person during peak season for breakfast. The convenience and quality of food was worth the small fee in our view.
Wifi was not complimentary and costs 5 euros per day. However, the room rates are extremely reasonable so even with these small additional charges, the value of this lodging option while visited Florence is still a great option.
There are a few quaint restaurants withing 10 minute walk into town that were easily accessible. Also, the Coop supermarket is within a 10 minute walk for any snack, drinks, etc... you want for the room at a great price which was a great find for us. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!

“Great apartment, beautiful & central location in Chianti”

This is a great find in a cute village. Impruneta is nestled in the Chianti wine region while still very commutable to Florence! The Relais has multiple different options, and we lucked out by staying in a great apartment overlooking the pool and Chianti vineyards and olive trees. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathroom was clean and modern with a large shower. The bedroom had comfortable beds with nice linens and the whole place was super clean. Parking is easy and we were able to walk into the center of Impruneta within a few minutes. There are a lot of eateries to choose from. The staff was helpful and responded to emails quickly and also immediately sent someone to fix a water problem we had the first day. We opted for a cooking class--all arranged by Relais--and it was fantastic (Cooking with Cristina)! The included breakfast (a deal during the off-season) was decent and the atmosphere at this place was super relaxed. In warm weather it would be even better as there is a large pool and lots of grills and tables outdoors. We hope to be back!
