A great place to stay with friends! We stayed in the farmhouse with 2 other couples. There was more than enough room for the 6 of us. We loved having a place to stretch out and enjoy a bottle of wine together. We had a patio as well as a living room where we could hang out together plus a huge farmhouse kitchen. The location was perfect as we could walk into town for dinner or drive to the surrounding hill towns and Florence. The staff was so helpful and arranged a wine tour with a wonderful tour guide. We would stay here again. The only surprise was that there wasn't a dryer with the washing machine. However we air dried our clothes without any trouble. Highly recommend! The ultimate place to stay! We just spent 4 nights here. It is absolutely fantastic. The welcome was very friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bed apartment with stunning views. The local bus is very punctual and a very scenic 30 min ride to Florence. Unfortunately, our Aussie dollar didn't stretch to well against the Euro, but it was worth the money. We would love to go back for longer next time. A nice place to relax, in the heart of beautiful Tuscany! Our family of four from Canada stayed at this place from july 7 to 10 th. We really enjoyed relais villa l'olmo. We had a 2 room apartment, with kitchen and sofas. Our children really enjoyed the fact that they had their own room with 2 beds. The room appartment was nice, clean and well decorated. The view from there is so nice, you cannot imagine, specially in the pool area. From there you can see all the olive groves and other trees from up the hill. This place is located near Florence in the city of Impruneta. From there you can stay for some days and go to visit Florence, Pisa, vineyards in Chianti, San Gimignano, etc....and then come back at the end of the day and have a swim with your kids. Imprunetta is a nice small city with some respectful restaurants. It is not very touristic, and our family really appreciated going to those italian restaurant where we had to use some italian words... The service provided by Eleonera is perfect. She is always ready to help you. She gave us information on Florence, public transport (bus), on vine in Chianti . One morning i told her that my daughter had an eye infection and if she could find a doctor. She immediattely obtained us an appointment with a doctor in Imprunetta in the next hour. My only real regret is that we booked at that place only 3 days. I would recommand at least 5 days. REALLY NICE PLACE... Wonderful place, great location! Extremely helpful and kind staff. Made many arrangements for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice pool. Grounds and location beautiful. Short bus ride to Florence was added bonus. Easter sunshine in Impruneta .. - London, UK We stayed in the Relais Villa L'Olmo for Easter with our two children aged 3 and 4 and had the most wonderful break from London. The Hotel is made up of separate self catering 'homes' on a hillside each beautifully decorated in tuscan country style with everything you could need from basic esentials to luxury elements. A couple of minutes walk away is the swimming pool (a couple of the rooms have their own private swimming pool) which amazingly has been surrounded at one end with sand. This was paradise for our children who played for hours while we lay on comfortable loungers next to them. Breakfast is served at the top of the hill on an open air terrace and the village has a supermarket to stock up on food. We ate out one evening with the children as the Italians are so children-friendly, however the hotel also organised a babysitter for us during the day as well as in the evenings. The beauty of Relais Villa L'Olmo is the location, only 15 mintues from the city centre of Florence but seemingly secluded in the Tuscan Hills with stunning views and a cool breeze. The hotel staff spoke English fluently and were able to organise not just our childcare but also trips to the nearby retail designer shopping outlets plus transport into the city and recommend restuarants for lunch and dinner. We felt a had a fantastic break despite travelling and holidaying with two small children as the atmostphere was so relaxed and we were able to spend so much time outside in the sun. I would recommend the hotel to anyone with or without children, it is a beautiful escape in a stunning location.
